From Family Recipes to Food Truck Success
El Taco De Ojo was born from a deep love for authentic Mexican street food and a desire to share the flavors I grew up with. As a first-generation Mexican-American woman, I wanted to honor my heritage while creating something uniquely my own.
Growing up, I spent countless hours in my grandmother's kitchen, learning the traditional recipes and techniques that have been passed down through generations. The smell of fresh tortillas, the sizzle of perfectly seasoned meat on the grill, and the vibrant colors of fresh ingredients - these memories inspired me to start El Taco De Ojo.
What started as a dream in 2020 has grown into a thriving food truck business that serves hundreds of customers across Phoenix. Every taco we serve is made with the same care and attention to detail that my grandmother taught me. We source the freshest ingredients, prepare everything from scratch, and never compromise on quality.
Being a women-owned business in the food industry comes with its challenges, but it's also incredibly rewarding. I'm proud to represent my culture, support my community, and create jobs while doing what I love.
